This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and returns work for all purchases made through the Readle World website and mobile application. By subscribing to our service, you agree to the terms below.


1. Subscription Cancellation Policy

1.1 You Can Cancel Anytime

Users may cancel their Readle Lite or Readle Pro subscription at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting support.

1.2 Cancellation Does Not Refund the Current Cycle

Once a subscription payment is successfully charged:

  • The current month’s fee is non-refundable, even if books have not been Subscribed yet.

  • Cancellation stops future auto-renewals only.

1.3 Service Access After Cancellation

After cancelling:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.

  • You must return any Subscribed books before your cycle ends.


2. Refund Policy for Subscription Fees

The refunded amount would be credited to the customer’s bank account within 3 to 4 days .

2.1 No Refund After Payment

Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, as the service instantly activates and reserves book inventory for your cycle.

2.2 Duplicate Payment / Technical Error Refunds

Refunds may be issued only in cases of:

  • Accidental duplicate payments

  • Technical issues in the payment gateway

  • Unsuccessful orders despite payment

Users must contact us with proof of payment.
After verification, refunds are processed within 5–10 working days.


3. Refundable Security Deposit Policy

3.1 One-Time Refundable Deposit

A ₹1000 one-time refundable security deposit is charged with your first subscription.

3.2 Conditions for Deposit Refund

The security deposit will be refunded only when:

  • All Subscription books have been returned

  • Your reading cycle is complete

  • No outstanding dues or pending pickups exist

  • Your account is not under investigation for loss/damage

3.3 Deposit Withdrawal Process

Users can request deposit withdrawal from their dashboard.
After verification, refunds are processed within:

7–15 working days

Refunds are sent to:

  • The original payment method, or

  • The bank/UPI details provided by the user (in special cases)

3.4 Deductions (If Applicable)

Deductions may apply if:

  • Books are damaged

  • Books are lost

  • Books are significantly stained/worn

  • Books are not returned despite reminders

Any deduction will be communicated clearly before processing the refund.


4. Cancellation of Orders (Book Subscription)

4.1 Books Cannot Be “Cancelled” Once Delivered

Book Subscription orders cannot be cancelled once books are dispatched or delivered.

4.2 Changing Books

You may place a new order only:

  • After returning the previous set of 2 books, AND

  • After your Subscription cycle (1 Month/2 Month) resets


5. Late Returns & Charges

If a user fails to return books even after repeated reminders:

  • The account may be temporarily suspended

  • The security deposit may be partially or fully deducted

  • Service access may remain blocked until issue is resolved


6. Delivery Fee Refunds

All deliveries and pickups are free of cost.
Since no delivery fee is charged, no delivery-related refund applies.


7. Refund Processing Time

Once approved:

  • Subscription-related refunds (rare): 5–10 working days

  • Security deposit refunds: 7–15 working days

Processing time depends on bank/UPI provider policies.


8. How to Request Refund or Cancellation

9. Special Cases Where Refunds May Be Denied

Refund may be denied if:

  • The user has pending books not returned

  • The user has damaged/lost books

  • Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected

  • Multiple refund requests indicate misuse

  • Payment was fully successful and service was accessible

We always inform users before denying refunds.

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
