At Readle World, we respect your right to control your personal data. This Account Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data, and how such requests are processed.

1. Your Right to Delete Your Account

You may request permanent deletion of your Readle World account and personal data at any time. This applies to users of both our website and mobile application.

2. Data Eligible for Deletion

Upon approval, we will permanently delete or anonymize the following data associated with your account:

  • Name and profile information

  • Email address and mobile number

  • Saved addresses

  • Account credentials (login details)

  • Rental history and preferences

  • Support tickets and communications

  • App-specific identifiers linked to your account

3. Conditions Before Deletion

For security, legal, and service-completion reasons, account deletion can be processed only if:

  • All rented books have been returned

  • Your current reading cycle (30 or 60 days) is completed

  • No security deposit refund is pending

  • No unpaid dues, disputes, or investigations are active

If any of the above are pending, deletion will be processed after resolution.

4. Data That May Be Retained Temporarily

Certain data may be retained for a limited period where legally required, including:

  • Payment and transaction records (for tax and accounting compliance)

  • Security deposit settlement records

  • Audit logs for fraud prevention

Such data is securely stored, access-restricted, and not used for marketing or profiling.

We may ask for identity verification to protect your account.

6. Processing Time

Once verified and approved, account data deletion is completed within:

7–15 working days

You will receive confirmation once the process is complete.

7. Effects of Account Deletion

After deletion:

  • Your account will be permanently closed

  • All access to services will be terminated

  • Rental history and preferences will be erased

  • Any remaining security deposit cannot be refunded after deletion

  • Account deletion is irreversible

To use Readle World again, you will need to create a new account.

8. Children’s Data

Readle World does not knowingly allow users under 13 years of age. If such an account is identified, it will be deleted immediately upon verification.

9. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated to comply with changes in law, Google Play requirements, or service updates. The latest version will always be available on this page.
